How it works

1

Answer 7 quick questions

Age, sex, body measurements, activity level, resting heart rate and sleep. Everything is computed in your browser — no data is ever sent to a server.

2

Add lab or blood-pressure values

Optional, but it sharpens the estimate: glucose, HbA1c, cholesterol, hs-CRP, vitamin D, blood pressure and waist circumference.

3

Get your biological age

Every marker is matched against NHANES 2017–2018 US population data and clinical reference ranges to produce an age in years, plus the years you could recover.

Markers analysed

Up to 14 health markers, all optional except the basics.

  • Body Composition
  • Waist-to-Height Ratio
  • Blood Pressure
  • Heart Rate
  • Physical Activity
  • Sleep Quality
  • Blood Glucose
  • HbA1c (Blood Sugar Control)
  • Cholesterol Profile
  • Inflammation (CRP)
  • Vitamin D

Frequently asked questions

What is biological age?

Biological age is an estimate of how old your body appears to be based on measurable health markers, rather than how many years you have lived. Two people born on the same day can have biological ages a decade apart depending on body composition, blood pressure, metabolic markers, inflammation, fitness and sleep.

How does this calculator estimate biological age?

Each marker you enter is converted into a 'matched age' — the age at which your value would be typical, or the number of years the deviation from a clinical target is worth. Your biological age is the weighted average of those matched ages, adjusted by a bounded lifestyle modifier for activity and sleep. Reference distributions come from NHANES 2017–2018 (US CDC), stratified by age band and sex.

Is a biological age calculator accurate?

No questionnaire-based calculator can match an epigenetic clock measured in a lab. This one is a transparent statistical estimate: with only height, weight and resting heart rate it is a rough indicator; adding blood pressure, waist and blood work raises the confidence level shown next to your result. Treat it as a directional health signal, not a diagnosis.

Do I need a blood test to use it?

No. The calculator works with basic measurements alone and will tell you that confidence is low. Blood pressure and waist circumference cost nothing to measure at home and already move the estimate into the medium confidence band.

Can I lower my biological age?

Most of the markers used here are modifiable. Losing visceral fat, bringing blood pressure under 120/80, improving glycaemic control, reducing inflammation, correcting vitamin D deficiency, training regularly and sleeping 7–9 hours all push the estimate down. The result screen shows your 'optimal age' — where you would land if every marker reached its clinical target.

Is my data private?

Yes. The entire calculation runs client-side in JavaScript. Nothing you type is transmitted, stored or logged, there is no account, no cookies and no analytics tracking of your inputs.

What data is the calculator based on?

Population distributions come from NHANES 2017–2018 (National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, US CDC) for body composition, waist, blood pressure, resting heart rate, glucose, cholesterol, triglycerides, HbA1c, hs-CRP and vitamin D. Clinical targets come from WHO, the ACC/AHA hypertension and cholesterol guidelines, NICE and the Endocrine Society.

Is this medical advice?

No. MyAgeScore is an educational tool. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. If a marker looks abnormal, discuss it with a qualified healthcare professional.
